We provide administrative and technical assistance to our affiliate community foundations. All fundraising is conducted locally and all grants benefit the local community represented by the affiliate community foundation.

• Also known as a geographic component fund, an affiliate community
  foundation is a smart way for a community to support local charities
  without taking on the cost and administrative burden of managing
  an endowment.
• While retaining its own identity, an affiliate foundation benefits from
  reduced administrative expenses and has access to the professional
  staff, fund management, and investment expertise of the Southeastern
  Illinois Community Foundation.
